The ancient parish is mentioned in 1493., and it was established in 1802. Church was built in 1822. It is titled: Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1907 it was renewed. After the fire when the tower burnt down in 1966 it was renewed. Church dimensions are: 34.25 m long, 15.25 wide, from inside it is 12 m high, and the tower is 38 m high. Now there are two bells. Register books are being written since 1803.
